Covering Letter For Sim Card

Heroes and sport in menswear

Some of the conferences that I could enjoy under the current "Man, the new fashion client. Man and fashion: from classicism to technology were very good.

The course was developed during the 15th, 16th and 17th of March, but I will only discuss the papers that I liked, were two, both held on the first day.
The first was conducted by Pablo Pena, costume history researcher and professor of art and design at the Art School 4 of the Community of Madrid . The title of his lecture was: New Greek heroes: the influence of sport in menswear. And indeed, we talked about the hero, how was forged in ancient Greece and has survived to this day embodied in pesonajes comic, film and even (and especially) in athletes. Because, according to Paul, unlike women (who, in adolescence, we know that we have become women because it is the rule), men have to prove somehow that made men are not so easy. And also have to bear a lifetime with the burden of being or not being " a real man." You have to "prove" by events. And Paul adds: "hero gives man sexual identity." Do you think that is?

Alexander.
The portrait of the hero usually has a constant, we could see, with Paul in photos you put on your laptop: a sculpture of Alexander the Great, in a picture of Hitler (although now know is a villain, at the time he painted as a hero in some social sectors), Superman, Indiana Jones, in a Dockers ad in Beckham ... All these parameters are:
- look at the skyline.
- hair flying (moving, so many heroes have long hair).
- mouth ajar.

Another thing that the heroes have in common is that all teach chest, especially when they are with women: in movies, when they will heal the wounds, or irrelevantly, teach it, nothing more. And in the chest is where his strength, that is where they put the medals in his military uniform and in fact T-shirts and polo logo is on that body part (such as Lacoste's crocodile).
The rapporteur also showed us how sport and war have shaped menswear. I quote from the summary of the conference that gave us "The XXI century male wardrobe consists of clothing from the military uniform, many of which have survived civil male wardrobe."

But today's heroes in sport (especially soccer) , have been deified to the absolute limits and, in fact, star in numerous campaigns fashion advertising. They are an example to follow. The last, Piqué footballer for Mango.

** In another post I'll talk about the next conference which I liked more if possible. A protocol expert told us about manners and explained how, according to him, is no longer fashionable to be a gentleman. Very funny. I loved it. But I do it in another post, if not this very long and I have not read it. Ah, I leave the blog of Paul, where you can read some of his articles: http://pablopenagonzalez.blogspot.com/ What do you think about your paper?
